Monday nights get completely packed when the band sets up near the front window. Space is tight, so you'll find yourself pressed against regulars who have been drinking here for decades. The bartender pours heavy drafts without missing a beat, and nobody cares if you brought a plastic cup outside to catch some breeze on the sidewalk.

It is gritty, loud, and entirely real. You won't find corporate sponsor banners or fancy craft cocktails here. Just sweat, cheap beer, and world class local jazz shaking the walls until late.
